Absolutely the best work I’ve read on the subject. Piper presents a big picture of God that bolsters our onfidence in Him and His perfect will for our lives. Through and comprehensive. Formatted very well, and reads ike a work half it’s size. I highly recommend this work!
The Reformed Pastor
This updated and abridged version by Tim Cooper makes for a much easier read than the Banner of Truth Trust version, and is done very well. A classic indeed, and a must read for any man who is considering entering into thework of ministry to Christ’s church. Highly recommended!

Handsdown the best work for the case against Paedo-baptism available. Very through as well as reader friendly. Jeff’s works are refreshing, and I’ll likely recommend many more.

A marvelous introduction to the Puritians, and from a man who loved them and spent much of his long life with them. Packer is always a great read.

A wonderful must read for anyone wrestling with contentment. Watson (like Bunyan and Spurgeon), is a master With illustration and word pictures. I highly value this work, and heartily recommend it to all.
Not a Chance
Another fantastic work by Sproul. He deals with the proposition of creation by chance from a largely hilosophical perspective. Establishes several essential points that will support a sound Christian world view, without having to Wade through volumes of philosophical mire. I highly recommend this work.
Introduction to the Death of Death in the Death of Christ
(Banner of Truth, available by itself for free on the Web also) A must read, even just by itself. Packers still is certainly more reader friendly and Owens, and this introduction to this work is invaluable. This work by Owen is also a must read, but I’ll address that work on it own.
Studies in the Atonement
Excellent work on the nature, design and extent of the atoning work of Christ. Very helpful and reader friendly. I highly recommend this work!
